However, both versions are different even if they are the same story and I recommend both the 1999 and the 2011 version because they are worth the watch.

Yu-gi-oh! does have many spin-offs such as GX, 5D's, Zexal, Vrains, Arc-V, and Sevens are good anime spin-offs to watch as well.
